Maybe Midtown East (where I work) or East Village (just for fun) and then I can venture out from there? My goal is to get to Brooklyn eventually to decide for myself who has the "best pizza in NYC".

Gramercy/Flatiron Frolickin'
On Saturday, I decided to put away my phone (aka map) and walk the Flatiron area just to see what I could see. I went from Gramercy Park to Broadway to Madison Square Park to 5th Ave. to 25th Street. and back to my building. It was nice to be paying attention to the architecture instead of Google Maps for once. I snapped a few pics with my DSLR and, even though it was gloomy, it was nice to be out and about exploring my own neighborhood. Tomorrow, I will probably select another area to explore.
